If a CD is not available for installing Appliance Manager, you may install Appliance Manager directly from the iPrism appliance. Do the following:
Go to the PC you want to install Appliance Manager on ...
Launch a Web browser ...
In the browser address bar, enter a URL containing the iPrism IP-address or hostname. Entering a URL of "http://iprism-ip-address" or "http://hostname" results in the web page shown below:
Click
"Configure iPrism" (above)
then click the "install the iPrism
Manager" link (below) to download and install Appliance Manager
for Windows, OS/X, or Unix.
Note-1: The link says "iPrism Manager", but in fact
you are installing "Appliance Manager". This
name change is due to the fact that Appliance Manager can manage all iPrism
models, as well as the ePrism model 500 appliance (SPAM filtering). When
you launch Appliance Manager you should see Appliance Manager 2.2 (or
higher) in the title bar.
Note-2: You may directly access the install link using a URL of "http://iprism-ip-address/config" or "http://hostname/config"
